Kelsey, the leasing agent was by far our favorite agent that we have met with on our apartment hunt. We felt right at home and excited when we looked at this property. Kelsey was very relateable in our needs and wants. We felt very comfortable and satisfied.

submitted by Donna B. - |Recommended: YesLove living here! — Moved from another River North apartment complex and love West 77 so much more! Being an older building it is more solidly built. And although near all that Chicago offers it has a nice neighborhood feel. I live in a newly renovated apartment and it is just perfect. And ecstatic that I have SIX (yes SIX) full size closets. That is something you never see in a downtown apartment. Most importantly I felt "at home" from the moment I moved in.
response from property -Hello Donna, Thanks for your review! We too love the location of our community. It's great to be so close to so many shops, restaurants and places of employment. The newly renovated apartments are great too! Thanks again for sharing your feedback. Best, Brandon Business Manager
submitted by James D. - |Recommended: YesProperty managers that care about the building, building amenities, and it's residents — again a building that the property managers that care about the building, building amenities, and it's residents. I like the fact the owner is taking a fairly older building and bringing it up to a level as new recently built apartment buildings in the area - My one issue is that the building property manager is charging rent comparable to newer built buildings when the building is not yet there.
response from property -Hello James! Thank you! We are very excited for the many upgrades that have been made over the past year and are happy to hear you agree! We look forward to continuing to provide you with the best service possible! Thanks! Brandon Business Manager

It is clear that Lincoln Properties hired third-rate contractors who barely work (based on empirical evidence), as it should not take 9 months to renovate existing elevators. Entire buildings are built in that amount of time. Please spend the appropriate money to fix/renovate the elevators, or give us a reduction in rent for the inconvenience. Everything else is fine and the staff is very nice. Rooftop looks great.

submitted by Amanda H. - |Recommended: YesI love it here - it's getting better and better - congrats! — I would recommend living here for sure. It might not be perfect for a young family, but for the 30-something crowd, it's perfect.
submitted by William D. - |Recommended: NoOverall good place/location, but time to settle down. — Great location, most staff are helpful and pleasant. I find some of the public area renovations puzzling or annoying (doorman faces away from door, ground floor space seems odd, interior hallway colors/carpet are downright unpleasant, plastic everywhere masquerading as metal or stone). I look forward to a time when I won't hear any more construction noise and hope it is before I have to move out. The owners seem to have specifically aimed only at the young and well-to-do as clients, and I think they are getting them. Many are pleasant people, but a significant minority treat the place as an expensive frat house, particularly on weekends.

I enjoy the fact that I don't have to pay extra to join a health club, since the exercise room & pool are very nice. The equipment in the exercise room is new and more than adequate to get a good workout.

So far the renovations have been coming along very fast. The staff has been very helpful too, thanks Brandon, Jane, and Nathaniel!
