submitted by Jessica S. - |Recommended: YesNearly Perfect — I love living here. It near all the things I want to do There are great food and bars in Montrose, coffee shops on Westheimer, I can walk or run outside along the trail on Allen Parkway, and I can easily get on 45 to go to work. Plus the Museums are right there Love the valet parking and bar downstairs as well. The only thing that I can complain about is because of the location of the pool it tends to get shady after 2pm.

submitted by Nicole M. - |Recommended: YesHurricane Harvey Haven — I am extremely thankful for Rebecca Bond and the staff of The Carter during this disaster Houston has endured. My husband and I have said that we truly do not want to live anywhere else because the amenities and community that have been established throughout this luxury hi rise are irreplaceable . Throughout this devastating Hurricane Harvey, The Carter staff as well as, the extraordinary manager Rebecca Bond have made sure that our building is running in tip top shape given the extenuating circumstances and that the residents, building, and staff are taken care of. The Managment has made sure that everyone is up to date regarding the latest information via email, text message, and through the Active Building website. I would have never expected this much communication from staff because of the devastation Houston has endured, but The Carter has exceeded my expectations by continuing to provide a caring and loving community through asking for donations to take down to the Geroge R. Brown Convention Center to help our fellow Houstonians. Did I also mention that throughout Hurricane Harvey we never lost power, and none of the units were flooded. This building is built to last with it's double pained windows, engaging patio doors, concrete construction, fiber internet connections, Sonos Speaker systems, and the amenity of the personal garage What more can anyone as for. Might I also mention that the Penthouse Skylouge was the venue for our wedding because of the gorgeous views, decor, and warmth that the building attracts. The Carter Luxury Apartments is home for my husband and I as well as our two Shih Tzus. How could you not love The Carter
submitted by Alain B. - |Recommended: YesWe're living in a hotel — So far, this place has been awesome. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had to call maintenance on the first day we were there and they fixed the problem immediately. It's like living in a hotel In regards to comparison of other apartments, we really can't compare since we haven't lived in an apartment for 20 years. However, from the several places we visited, the materials in the Carter are top notch.

submitted by Chris D. - |Recommended: YesReally the perfect place to live. — If you commute downtown or into the Medical Center, you won't find a better place to live. The management and staff are the sweetest people, and we have sincerely enjoyed meeting all of our neighbors. We were pretty blown away when we toured, and still our experience has defied expectations.
