|Recommended: YesFeels like home — The staff, amenities, and the grounds, to the impeccable beauty of the units, this place feels like home. Genevieve and Raquel are amazing and are always willing to help. The maintenance crew has some of the nicest people that also do quality work and go above and beyond. The amenities are hands down some of the best I have seen in an apartment in this area. The grounds are kept looking beautiful The neighbors are all extremely friendly. The inside of the units is gorgeous The layout, even in a 1 bedroom, is spacious and resembles a home instead of a typical box with walls. The patios are huge It honestly feels like I live in a resort
|Recommended: YesAll in all, a great place to live. — - Normally easy to find a close parking spot, sometimes you will have to park on the street or a little farther than you would like. Not a big issue for the majority of us.
- I don't know if this goes for everyone on the first floor, but I can hear EVERYTHING upstairs. Maybe I have elephants for neighbors, but I hear every step, every bark from the dog, and even music. Disclaimer I DO believe I just have noisy neighbors, but I have asked the office to step in and there has still been no improvement.
- The only thing I could think of for grounds-keeping is the trash situation. I believe there is only one trash compactor on site which is not a problem since we have valet trash but some weekends and holidays the compactor is literally COVERED in trash. And it will stay like that for days until the maintenance team comes back, from vacation time I assume. It took the maintenance guys a few hours to clean it all up after New Years.
- Love the finish of my apartment. There are a few things that could be better i.e. - Most of the corners in the kitchen and bathroom are not square I'm not a professional, but even I can tell someone did not measure twice. A 90 degree angle should be easy but absolutely no major complaints.
- Maintenance team is the bomb. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. I had a problem with my washer dryer and the part was taking forever to be delivered from the manufacturer. When it finally arrived, the man fixing it for me was so apologetic like it was all his fault. I also had a bulb out in the kitchen and he offered to come back and replace it once I went to the store and bought it. Totally not necessary, I'm 6' 3 , but I notice the extra effort. Super professional, 10 10 someone needs a raise.
- Staff was hit and miss at first, I think I came in when someone was having a bad day so that put a little sour taste in my mouth for a while. Since the new manager has come in I have had a few reasons to come to the office and every time my issue question has been handled with great professionalism and care.
The only thing that irks me more than any other is the mail. I know no one here has any control over this and I have been told the management has been on the post office about it but the mail service is awful here. If you have any need for regular, on time mail delivery or have high value packages delivered, get a PO Box. It's like no one seems to know how to put the mail in the right slot or deliver packages on time at the right apartment. I thought it was a simple job but hey, maybe I'm wrong. Have had a couple of packages stolen off of my front porch as well. PS - Parcel Pending is worth it. Trust me here.
Overall 8 10. Would definitely recommend putting Century Lake Forest on your list.
|Recommended: YesVery comfy feeling and the apts have lots of room. — I like the space each apt has and the balcony's are adorable Lots of windows and natural lighting but our bedroom in the apt didn't have a light fixture, just a fan which was slightly annoying but we nothing a simple lamp couldn't fix. All in all, lots of well usable square ft and the kitchen is adorable with great usable space also
|Recommended: YesGreat way to start living in Texas — I found Century Lake Forest apartments on the internet when I still lived in South Carolina. I took a risky move and without seeing the inside of an apartment but only going off the reviews I decided this is where I wanted to live. Over the weeks I had such great help with Raquel and she made it very easy for me to move. When I got here I was not disappointed the apartment was better and more beautiful than she described, from the paint choices to the stainless appliances. The community is a great one for dog lovers as well as I don't think I have seen so many dogs but they are all so well behaved. I am very please with my choice and I would recommend anyone to live here.
|Recommended: YesProperty is nice and in a good location. — Honestly, I would tell them that the apartments are nice but to many fees. There is a fee for everything and even the fees have fees. In my opinion trash pickup and covered parking should be included. I also don't agree with a fee to transfer apartments, if a tenant would like to move to a larger apartment and it is available why not accommodate the tenant

|Recommended: YesI am blessed to call this my home. — I actually am asked how I like living here by friends, co-workers and sometimes by prospective residents in the leasing office when I happen to go in. Most recently a gentleman told me he currently lives in Addison, it is very stressful there now and he is thinking that McKinney might be the area to move to. I shared that I work in Richardson, and enjoy coming home to our property after work because we are less congested, the area still has a country feel, and it is a great location overall. Also that I have just signed my third lease here. The management team is very responsive and provides us with community activity opportunities...maybe we will have another community wide garage sale because the last one was great. With all the new product coming on line in the area I still prefer our community.

|Recommended: YesLove Our Home — We have been here almost 2 years and love everything about the complex. The apartments are beautiful, spacious the property is well maintained . Kelly and her staff have always been very sweet and helpful. We downsized from our big house to an apartment with the idea of trying it for a year, well Century Lake Forest has become our home and we plan to stay.
