|Recommended: YesBuilding Staff Stellar Building Amazing ... however the pipes noise one can hear every flush every everything — The cadence is beautiful, the staff incredible, and the units unique, contemporary, and offering the best closet space in the city Hey, to some people the later is a major necessity - I love it here and hope to call the Cadence home for a long while. Now, if I'd have known that the company doing the insulation neglected to actually do their job, and one would be hearing every flush, every shower, every everything ... I would've thought twice. I'm glad that I was unaware, as I love most everything else about The Cadence. For the team reading ... while the building is obviously beautifully designed ... the materials in some cases perhaps weren't the best choice, such as the cupboards ... can't hold much weight in the kitchen I mean a few light glasses make the cupboard shelves sink bend. I first became aware when a friend was helping me unpack plates and glasses and exclaimed your shelves aren't sturdy' She was right, however nothing has broken and I'm sure all will be fine. Also the door knobs for the main door to each apartment aren't for exterior doors. They have a push button that can get locked on the inside it's like the bathroom door and one can be locked out ... as I and several tenants have experienced. Just sharing since the question was asked about one's experience here. Also not for review, but for those reading ... a few people who live on my floor and make the staff's lives difficult should not be allowed to live here. The garbage room for example ... often has piles of bags of garbage sometimes open sometimes spilled. All tenants are to do the obvious and put their garbage bags down the shoot. Who these lazy neighbors expect is going to pick up their garbage for them and throw it down the shoot on their behalf is beyond me. It's unfair to the staff and also to the neighbors as no one wants to attract bugs etc .... Also on my floor, again the poor staff has to deal frequently I personally have had to let them know that a dog often poops' in the same spot on the carpet weekly ... I've almost stepped in it and I know others who sadly have ... I haven't seen that in a cpl wks but I've been gone for a week. The dogs on the floor are the sweetest, I have no idea who it is, but it's just wrong that a neighbor would allow their dog on several occasions to use the carpet and not pick it up Lastly ... It seems to be a constant party and there's been vomit on the floors all sorts of things, it's kind of like a dorm at times. And yet there's so much to love about the Cadence ... I love my particular unit, the mgr mgt team are all just wonderful love those ladies in the office, they are really the best and shouldn't have to deal with the few neighbors who are behaving badly on a regular basis . So between the great units design look staff location then some, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and the negatives have to do with lack of insulation oh and the lights ... kitchen track are sooo hot and expensive and a cpl inconsiderate neighbors. OK really lastly ... if we could recycle that would be everything Many of the neighbors have also shared that they too feel badly throwing out plastics bottles paper when typically one would recycle those things. So far, we only recycle cardboard ... thankful that we do as I've had a lot - but if we can somehow have recycling for the usual recyclables, that would be great. And yes I did leave a stellar review online upon first moving in without mention of any issues, just well, no new building comes without issues and I'm sure you're well aware of the few here. |Recommended: YesFriendly and helpful staff — Overall, really enjoy the apartment. Maintenance and staff are extremely friendly and timely in all requests. Only complaints would be the amount you can hear other tenants through the walls and maintenance of the property. There have been a few pet messes in the stairwells and the pool seems to currently have a bug infestation. However, that being said, we're really enjoying the apartment and its location.

|Recommended: YesClose to City — The staff are usually nice to deal with and the facility is kept clean during the week, just not on the weekends. A couple tenants at the location tend to not clean up after themselves and can be noisy, but that is not the majority of the people. I moved in when the apartment was still new and pretty much empty. It was great in the first couple months but as people continue to move into the apartments around me the noise is bad. I will wake up from the noises I hear my neighbors make some nights. The apartment itself has very nice finishes and is very modern.

|Recommended: YesFriendly and functional Great location — The Cadence it isn't perfect, but the beauty of the complex is it' imperfections. And they work hard to make it better, which is very much appreciated. They communicate and respond promptly.
