|Recommended: YesWell maintained, Quiet Community — Well maintained, Quiet Community
|Recommended: YesConvenient and safe — Very convenient thru all seasons no shoveling snow, raking leaves or vacuuming the pool You have covered parking and really never have to leave the building to put your garbage out, go to the gym or get your mail I'm a female that lives with my daughter and I feel very safe The space I have is roomy and well mapped out. I don't hear the train or my neighbors. It's very quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive to any questions. It's a pleasure living here.
Only recommendations fringe benefits that would be nice if elevator rugs and foyer from parking garage rugs were cleaned more often. Garage garbage pails outside of elevators were emptied more often. If some sort of carriage were available to bring up groceries.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — The staff is amazing, maintenance requests are carried out almost immediately. Everything is kept clean and in top shape. The only problem you may run into is unreasonable neighbors, but that's not a negative against the residences themselves.
|Recommended: YesGreat location easy access to many areas in Fairfield Cty - — I would recommend prospective tenants and have discussed with others all the positives (comparing to my condo which is located in a building will all similar amenities). I like that Merritt River will take the time occasionally to put together a function to try to have tenants meet each other interacting like a community.
|Recommended: YesGreat amenities — I LOVE living here. The building activities are great, the grounds are clean and well kept. Lastly, but not at all least the staff is phenomenal and extremely responsive.
|Recommended: YesI love living here — living in luxury
|Recommended: YesConveniently located, friendly staff, great amenities, pet friendly & expensive — The complex has a great diverse tenant population. For the most part all neighbors are friendly and considerate. Good place to live and great location for commuters.
|Recommended: YesI LOVE living here! — Like living in a resort year round. The only complaint I have is the noise from the train in the middle of the night. WHY cant something be done about that. It's like the train conductors purposely want to wake the whole building because they sound off the horn over and over and over. I'd be willing to sign a petition to Metronorth if we can get one out there so they can at least reduce the number of times that horn is blown.
|Recommended: YesI really love how clean the building and surroundings are — Convenient, friendly and ammenities are superb
|Recommended: YesNice place — Great place
|Recommended: YesClean, well maintained, friendly, responsive, loud — Great building overall. Pay for the amenities and space, not finishes. Very loud but would recommend it. Train makes noise and noise coming through from upstairs and front door, can't hear next door neigbors. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Kitchen appliances are very cheap, there should be a microwave and our counter should have been replaced before we moved in. Should have been informed about concrete walls as makes it hard to hang things. An exterior vent makes constant knocking noise and buidling is not able to fix which causes some issues.
|Recommended: YesGood customer service — Expensive but worth it.
|Recommended: YesTerrific facility. Great people. Very friendly and professional. — Very well run apartment, well maintained & convenient.
|Recommended: YesIt's a great location and staff is great. — It's a nice community. The location is great for me because I walk up the hill to work. The staff is very accomodating and things get done quickly. In the summer I really enjoy the pool area and sitting out and cooking out. My one complaint is the location of my apartment which is facing Facset. It is very noisy. There is never a time we can just open the windows or keep the deck door opened.
|Recommended: YesClean, quiet, good location — Overall very good, very clean. I would like to see recycling bins/recycling chute on the apartment floor level in the refuse room instead of having to carry everything downstairs to P2. It's very cumbersome and difficult to do when you have kids. The other thing that concerns me are the benches located in outdoor courtyard near the grilles. They are a huge safety hazard for little children because it makes it easy for kids to climb up on the bench and they can fall right over the balcony.
