|Recommended: YesGreat Clean Modern Style Living Apartments — Very modern and clean living. Staff is very nice and helpful and accommodating. Guest parking isn't big and there are a lot of events that take place very close to the complex and visitors of those events will use the Vela guest parking but there is the Tempe Town Lake lot available as well. Overall a great complex.
|Recommended: YesGreat apartments with very limited parking — I have really enjoyed living here. Only bad things have been that parking is scarce, even in the garage sometimes. All apartments come with one parking pass for the garage and an extra parking pass is 100 A MONTH. That is ridiculous. I can always hear my upstairs neighbor stomping around at all hours of the day and night, and even playing music and talking sometimes. Fortunately, I live next to a model unit and a stairwell, so I am not sure how noise levels between walls would be. Recently the management has had to come in often to do inspections, which is understandable, just a little annoying since they did it twice within one week. Overall, the amenities are great and I love being on the lake and right off the freeway. I used to love the events that were held in the complex, especially the breakfast on the go, but they have moved the time back so late that I am already at work by the time it starts, when it used to start much earlier. It's still great that they offer all of these events and amenities.

From the moment you walk into the leasing office you will see how stylish and upbeat the Lease Staff are. Best of the Best. Don't move to Scottsdale. VELA is far more active lifestyle. Tempe is Booming and its Developments like VELA that gives you that feeling of HOME every evening its a new adventure. Fine Dinning, Events, ASU Games, and the Airport is a 10 buck UBER RIDE away ITS AWESOME 5 STARS

There amenities everywhere and everything is designed well Pricey but WELL worth it in my opinion. Hoping to renew my lease if everything keeps going smooth. Cant beat how close we are to the lake, not to mention the view And Vela tenants get free bike, canoe paddle board rentals from the shop connected to the building Great place

|Recommended: NoLove the property -- too much noise in the outdoor public area — Everything, of wait -- except on thing, is amazing at VELA. The staff, maintenance and overall community is wonderful. The problem The outside pool table, hang out area needs to be changed. Too much noise with disrespectful tenants and visitors at 3 30am no less . I am sure the VELA staff will take care of this by limiting access or changing the layout.
