|Recommended: YesWheaton 121 is a great place to live. — I've lived here for about 6 months so far and love it. The building has so many great amenities, the location is perfect - walking distance to historic downtown Wheaton with lots of fun town events, and the apartment itself is one of the nicer places I have lived. I love our balcony, the flooring, the cabinets, the granite countertops with a huge island, the appliances, in unit washer dryer, the walk in closet and large bedroom and our very spacious bathroom. Parking is never an issue around the building for our guests and I love the heated garage, especially on rainy or snowy days. The extra storage in the garage is a plus too. The staff has been friendly and quick to act on maintenance requests. The pool and grilling area in the summer was fantastic and the fitness room, movie theater and community room are all great. My only drawback to this community is the layout. Being in a corner unit has been great but we're very far away from the only 2 elevators in the building. Luckily we only live on the 3rd floor, so the stairs are right outside our door and are a good option but it would be nice for guests or food deliveries for there to be more elevators closer to all the units. Other than that, Wheaton 121 is a great community and a wonderful place to live.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live... And no yardwork or snow shoveling — We moved here in Sept 13, shortly after W121 opened and we honestly love the place. We came from out of state and knew no one so we were hoping to make friends with new neighbors. Well, 2 years later we have many now good friends we've met here. The amenities are incredible too many to list here and the staff changed earlier this year but they didn't skip a beat and contune to be very responsive. If you are looking for the best price this is certainly NOT the place for you. However, in this case, I definitely believe you get what you pay for.

|Recommended: YesGreat facility, great staff — Friendly community. Welcoming staff. Well kept grounds. Great place to live. The only minor complaint is for overnight parking for guests - have to call Police to get permission. Everything else is better than expectations.
|Recommended: YesWould highly recommend this complex. — We love living here staff is very helpful and friendly, apartments are beautiful and spacious, apartments are well-designed and equipped for our lifestyle, large workout facility has all machines we need, well-sized balconies, train not too noticeable we face inside , amazing courtyard and pool, nice laundry in unit, great neighbors, love the spacious community room and theater room. Only complaint is that we have a tenant with a child that lives above us and hear them running around a lot - but that would be the case in any apt complex. Overall, LOVE this complex
|Recommended: YesWheaton 121 — Decent, clean energy efficient small 2 bedroom apt. Parking is available if needed. Biggest plus is the work out room and the fact that they take and store package. Staff is very helpful. Cost wise, its not cheap and you pay all of your own utilities.

|Recommended: YesOverall, it is a friendly community — The community of 121 and Wheaton are both very friendly and helpful. People are always ready to answer your questions or direct you to the best places to receive prompt service.
The only thing I do not find tolerable, at times, is the amount of dogs they allow in the complex. It tends to get very noisy in the evenings and many owners do not see the need to quiet their pets. To me, that is a common courtesy of community living if you train your pet well then all are happy
Other than that, I have been content with living at Wheaton 121.
|Recommended: YesNoise — I love living here. I have lived in apartments in New York City and Hoboken, NJ and I absolutely love it here. I live facing the the pool and I can't hear a thing...and that's wonderful. However, I have new neighbors above me and I can hear the husband stomping around and their 3 or 4 year old son running up and down the length of the apartment. The kid also throws things off the balcony and someone above me likes to throw their cigarette butts and other odds and ends out of the balcony in to the garden banana peels and can of soda .
Another suggestion is to extend the patio hours from 10p on Friday's and Saturday's until 11p.
