|Recommended: YesA good place to live than any other apartments. — I would tell them the office staffs and maintence are aqmazing. Its a very quite place. Not alot of action happens like crime. But there is some down falls with gnats that you cant 100% get rid of but can be controlled a little. The paint job inside the apartments are cheap and looks like they rushed to paint. And anyhing on the walls from previous residents will sooner or later will show up on the wall after awhile threw the paint. But this place as far as staffs are very helpful and will help you in any way they can. This my first apartment I had and what i hear from others with their apartment, I think I picked the right place to live until Im able to buy a home.

He also said that he would give you some paint if you would like. You can do some touch ups if that would be more convenient for you. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept and the majority of the residents are peaceful and hard working people.

|Recommended: YesTenants are not being made to keep breezeways clean — Nice apartments, The office staff and maintenance staff are very nice and professional. The maintenance response time is very good. The only complaint is the tenants are not being made to keep the breezeways clean and it make the units look bad. I would hate for the apartments to start going down..

|Recommended: YesI like living here. — This is a nice quite wooded area. I do not see many crimes going on at Northlake. The maintance are wonderful. I had called in a work order and the maintance went out the way to fix something that was not on the work order.He really did not have to do no more than what was on the work order but he did (appreciated). The maintance are really friendly and it takes no time for them to come and fix the problem. The office people are really friendly also. They had never got rude with me and always cheerful. This is a gated community and the gates actually work.The gate to come in stays open until 7:00pm, which I would like if the gate would close when the office closes is close. I believe they keep it open so future residence can come in but after office hours I believe there is no reason to have it stay open. The exit gate always works too. They keep the exit gate closed. It is nice to take your kids to feed the ducks and the ponds here. They try their best to keep up with the landscape. The only thing I do not care for are the cats that rome around the place. Luckliy I have not had a cat spray my car yet. That is one thing I don't like about cats. I have been here for only a month and have no problem.

|Recommended: NoConvenient location but amenities are old, staff not overly responsive. — Quiet and convenient place to live on the most part. However, I have lived there for approximately 6 years and have same appliances and bathroom fixtures that I had when I moved in which were already old and beginning to rust. I asked for and was told that upon renewal that I would get a free carpet cleaning. I have yet to hear from Northlake on this matter. Thinking seriously about relocating to a more modern facility.

Thank you for you review, we are always looking for ways to improve our community. Once you renewed your lease you are entitled to a free carpet cleaning, just give us a call when your ready and we will call Germ X to set it up an appointment. He will be on site next Tuesday 3/5/13 if you would like to be added to the list. Also we can put in a work order to replace you bathroom fixtures.

|Recommended: NoThe complex is dated and needs updating. — The image is nice. The view from outside is nice. The view and image change when you get a look from the inside. The buildings need to be upgraded / updated. The grounds are kept, but the only grass surrounds the rental office. The complex is overrun with feral cats.
Thank for your review, we are always looking for ways to better our community. This year we will be making a few upgrades to the community starting with painting the buildings. We spoke with Animal Control in the past about the cats and we were told that they would only catch the cats to spay and nueter them only to release them back on site due to the over population of cats in the animal shelters. Lastly our community is very shaded with trees so it makes it hard to grow grass in the areas that are not getting direct sun light, however the trees help keep our community cooler especially in the hot summers when you want to spend time outside and they also keep the inside of the apartments cooler which is a plus :)

|Recommended: YesOutstanding mangemnet team , apt area is nice . do not like water bill very much unfair my light bill lower than water bill — You will love staff and the maintenance team . the area is quite and safe no problem at all .
only thing dislike is the water bill. My water is higher than my light bill. Its not fair for someone who is living and using less enrgy and water for someone with double the of people and using more uitiily .

|Recommended: YesFix online billing — I should be able to see my online bill BEFORE it is due. I dont know how much to pay unitl the first, but by the 4th its over due. I need to know my bill at least a week ahead of time so i can pay it in advanced.
Thank for your feedback regarding this matter, each month you should receive a post card in the for your utilites from NWP and your rent amount never changes throughout your lease until you renew, with both of those factors you should be able to know your rent amount before the 1st of the month.
