|Recommended: NoRent is too high without many amenities. — The location is great. The maintenance staff is very good. In general I am pleased with the community. The drawbacks are that in 4 years my rent has increased greatly. I've been told by the office that it's increased so much because of the average market in the area. That would be fine if the amenities were comparable to other communities in the area. If my rent increases another 100 this year I will be forced to move to another community in the area.

Thank you for your honest feedback. You have been a valued resident over the years, but we understand with the market changing dramatically in the Bellevue area how that can affect our long term residents. You are correct that we are a smaller community that doesn't offer some of the amenities that the larger communities with space can. We strive to keep the amenities we have in excellent condition for our residents enjoyment and every year look at what we can do to improve our amenities with the space that we have. If there's anything in particular that you might like to see being added I would love your input.

|Recommended: YesIt's a nice place to live — I've lived at Waterford Place for 8 months now, like it a lot, and will continue to live here for awhile. Maintenance is always super friendly when they see you and quick to fix issues, and the staff in the office have always been great as well. They are very pet friendly though it would be nice if people would pick up after their dogs... and are constantly making improvements to the property which might drive the rent up a little, but I feel like the place is worth it .
Despite this, there is some bad that should be pointed out. There are constant inspections that happen and it's really annoying and unnecessary for an apartment complex full of adults. I have nothing to hide, but I do have a dog who gets really upset when random people come into my apartment and walk around while he's locked in a crate. They usually give you 1 or 2 days notice, but one day I got a note on my door the night before... It's a little ridiculous and makes me feel like I have no privacy. Also the walls are super thin, and while I don't really have issues hearing my neighbors they're quiet and I feel like hearing neighbors from time to time is part of apartment living it is really bad for heating and cooling the place. My electric bill runs pretty high for a one bedroom apartment due to the poor insulation. Last, I don't think it's a problem for all of the buildings, but my building has HORRIBLE parking There are days I have to park 2 buildings down and hike to mine.
I've listed the problems here to keep people informed, but they really aren't deal-breakers at least not to me . Overall, this is a wonderful place that I am happy to call home
